Staying at Snowy Peaks was the best stop on our trip! We had a wonderful time and stayed an extra night. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our grandson, who spent a day helping (?) the owner and riding with him on his golf cart begged us to stay longer! We will definitely return to Snowy Peaks whenever we are near Buena Vista. Loved the private bathrooms! And the grassy area in each site is very nice -- plush, well-manicured, and very inviting. It's not typical to find such rich grass (or any grass!) at an RV park. Steve, Englewood, CO 9/09
We were at your campground from 09/03-09/06 and I cannot begin to tell you how satisfied we all were with your facilities!!! It was an A+ experience!
We both enjoyed your RV Park immersely! Clean, wide large turning axis into sites, dog friendly and to find pet sitting available was a huge plus! We had planned on staying 2 nights and now 4 nights have passed! Friendly helpful owners, & staff was another huge plus! Coming up from FL we were afraid to make reservations ahead of time until we looked at the park. The smile this park brought to both our faces when we pulled in and then found the ease in backing into our site made our day!! Leaving tomorrow we hope our next RV park has followed your example in what truly makes a park enjoyable! Thank You and if we are ever back in CO we will be staying with you again! Buena Vista, CO, Nov. 16, 2009 – Snowy Peaks RV Park was one of only 31 campgrounds and RV resorts across the country to earn an all around “A” grade in the nation’s first consumer satisfaction survey of independent parks. The 85-site park, located in Buena Vista, CO, received an “A” grade in overall guest satisfaction for the year 2009. The top parks were announced in Orlando, Fla. on November 12, 2009 during an awards ceremony hosted by the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds. Nearly 17,000 camping and RV enthusiasts participated in the 2009 online survey, which evaluated guest experiences at 1,840 independent campgrounds and RV resorts affiliated with the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds.
