Buena Vista, Colorado
Six full-hookup site types with free Wi-Fi, from big-rig luxury pull-throughs with private decks to spacious back-in sites under mature shade trees.
Full-Hookup Camping Since 1965
Snowy Peaks RV Park sits on US-24 in Buena Vista, Colorado, with the Arkansas River on one side of town and the Collegiate Peaks on the other. Every one of our sites is a full-hookup site with water, sewer and electric, free Wi-Fi, a lawn, a picnic table and the same mountain views you see from the office.
Whether you are pulling a 40-foot fifth wheel that needs 50-amp service and a straight shot into the site, or a small travel trailer that is happy on 30 amps under a shade tree, there is a site type built for it. Pull-through sites let you arrive and leave without unhooking. Back-in sites tend to be quieter and sit closer to the trees. Our Luxury Pull-Through adds a private deck, pergola, gas grill and gas firepit for guests who want a base camp rather than just a parking spot. Weekend campers, seasonal guests and full-time RVers all share the same clean, family-run park.

Spacious full-hookup sites with lawns, shade trees and picnic tables. Free Wi-Fi and 20/30 amp service.
Spacious full-hookup back-in sites with lawns, shade trees, picnic tables and free Wi-Fi. 20/30/50 amp service.
Big-rig friendly back-in sites with lawns, picnic tables, shade trees and Wi-Fi, with your choice of 20/30/50 amp service.
Not sure which site fits your rig? Tell us your length, whether you tow, and how many air conditioners you run, and we will point you to the right type. Big rigs and rigs running two air conditioning units generally want a 50-amp site. Smaller trailers and campers are comfortable on 30 amps.
Please note: while you will always be in the same site type that you booked, the site number may change. The campground reserves the right to move your site.
Every site at Snowy Peaks is a full-hookup site. Beyond the hookups, the park is laid out for actually living outside: lawns instead of gravel pads, mature shade trees, and a picnic table at every site.

Fire truck rides around the park, pancake breakfasts, potlucks and cookouts, bingo and game nights, crafts, horseshoes and pedal carts. Evenings end at the central campfire pit under a sky with very little light between you and the stars.
Our seasonal and long-term guests celebrate as a community: a Halloween party with costume contest and trick-or-treating, a Thanksgiving potluck, and a Christmas party with a gift exchange.
Snowy Peaks is a pet-friendly park. Bring the dog, walk the lawns, and head out to the trails and river together. There is no shortage of trails and riverbank to explore together.

Buena Vista is the kind of place where you can raft in the morning, soak in a hot spring in the afternoon and be back at the picnic table for dinner. A short drive from the park:
